Emily Newton is a partner in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding, and she focuses on high stakes litigation, including antitrust matters, class action defense, and other business disputes. She received a J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, majoring in psychology.

She has lived in the Candler Park neighborhood for over 15 years and has a rising kindergartener at Mary Lin and a rising 6th grader at Howard.  She is active in the community and her firm, previously serving on various boards for the March of Dimes and the Mary Lin Education Foundation, and she currently serves as her firm’s Atlanta litigation associate hiring partner and business litigation associate talent partner.
